MHS Corporate Finance acted as exclusive financial advisor to OK a.m.b.a. on the acquisition of electricity company Elektron
OK a.m.b.a., a Danish utility company, has acquired Elektron ApS. The OK Group entered into an agreement to take over the successful Aarhus company Elektron, which supplies electricity to private customers. The acquisition helps to underpin OK’s strategy and ambition to become an even bigger player in residential energy solutions in the coming years.
“Our goal is to become the Danes’ preferred green energy partner for housing and business, and acquisitions are one of the ways to achieve that goal. Elektron is a really exciting company that has experienced strong growth since its foundation in 2014. It’s an efficient company with many satisfied customers, and we think it’s a really good match. That is why we are of course thrilled to have reached an agreement.”
— Michael Lamberth, CCO in OK a.m.b.a.
