Divesture of HMN Naturgas A/S

MHS Corporate Finance acted as exclusive financial advisor in connection with HMN Naturgas I/S’ divesture of HMN Naturgas A/S to a consortium consisting of Eniig a.m.b.a. and SEAS-NVE a.m.b.a.

HMN Naturgas I/S divested its 100% ownership share in HMN Naturgas A/S and related operational activities for an undisclosed consideration. The transaction was signed on 4 July 2017.

HMN Naturgas I/S is Denmark’s largest gas company supplying gas to about a quarter million households and companies. The group is owned by 57 municipalities in the areas around Copenhagen and in the northern and middle part of Jutland. The group consists of the distribution company, HMN GasNet P/S, the gas sales company, HMN Naturgas A/S, and two smaller companies related to biogas activities and sale of gas to the transport sector.
